Leadership development and leadership coaching

re:lead leadership development and leadership coaching helps you understand how your leadership affects yourself and those around you.

Through re:lead you revisit your leadership approach. You get tools and perspectives that put your leadership in a new light and enable you to thrive and succeed as a leader.

This applies whether your curiosity about your leadership stems from a desire to develop yourself as an individual or as part of a leadership team.

Leadership development can take the form of a group-oriented development process. This enables you to build new knowledge as well as train your leadership skills.

The second option is an individual course with a focus on leadership coaching. As a business psychologist I act as your confidential sparring partner and coach in a 1:1 process. The course is based on the dilemmas you are concerned with in your leadership.

When I work with leadership development the aim is to train the ability to balance between different considerations and dilemmas.

This ensures that you succeed and thrive as a leader. It also benefits both the human and financial bottom line.

Themes in leadership development and leadership sparring

In order to benefit from a management development course with me, it is a prerequisite that you are curious about revisiting your leadership. At the same time, you must be willing to set aside the time to work on your leadership.

Regardless of whether you are a new or experienced leader, you will occasionally find yourself torn between various dilemmas and paradoxes.

Your background, your experiences and the opportunities you have are decisive for which dilemmas you encounter and how you experience them.

Some of the typical themes in leadership development may be:

  • Understanding of own reaction patterns in certain relationships or situations
  • Conflict management
  • Balance between strategic and operational priorities
  • Balance between governance and delegation
  • Loneliness and well-being as a leader
  • Training of (new) leadership tools and skills
  • Career development
  • Getting off to a good start as a leader
  • Insight into other people’s expectations of you as a leader
  • Confidence in own abilities as a leader

In other words, your needs and themes defines the focus in the leadership development and how we should work with it.

Before the sessions, I struggled with low self-esteem, but Majas different perspectives and small exercises helped me realize that my voice has just as much right to be heard as anyone else's.
